THE WINES
L’élégance de ses vins offre un parfait équilibre entre de belles acidités, de grands amers en fin de bouche et des notes iodées.
D’une excellente vivacité ces vins sont dotées d’un relief gustatif admirable. Les schistes en font des vins minéraux révélateurs d’un terroir marqué par les siècles.
Le Savennières se bonifie sans cesse davantage avec les années.

The winemakers all agree. Savennières wines have allure, chic and elegance. They know how to remain secret before revealing the richness of their aromatic harmony, enriched by years of ageing.
They are often referred to as "mineral". A taste of gun flint? Not quite so simple. Born on the rocks, they assert a unique, distinguished, racy personality.
A touch of acidity gives them a delicate freshness and nervousness.

VINTAGES

The best vintages for the Savennières appellation were the following years:
1928, 1929, 1945, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1976, 1985, 1989, 1990, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 et 2020.
1959, 1989, 2005 are considered the best of all. These years are known as millennium vintages.
